So much of life is predicated on relationship and in today’s digital world it is very easy to hide behind a computer screen and seemingly connect to others. I contend that looking into someone’s eyes or holding their hand in salutation is much more important than exchanging ‘posts’.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the fact that I can disseminate information into my network and have it read by a wide group of people that I love and care for, just don’t let it replace an occasional phone call or dinner date—-nothing replaces the energy of presence.
